You may find when playing Chinese Poker online, that players will rarely ever surrender their hand. Utilizing the surrender option can really work to your advantage. Deciding when to surrender your hand really depends on what penalty you have to pay to each player – this often varies from 2 to 3 points depending on which type of scoring is being used.
But, if your hand is bad enough, a surrender is usually warranted in all scenarios – unless you absolutely cannot lose more by playing your hand than surrendering it. (which would be a rarity in most forms of play).
Use the Alotted Time Wisely
A lot of time is given for players to arrange thier hands when playing Chinese Poker online (some say too much), and many players are temtepted to arrange their hands too quickly – without considering all possibilities. Also, consider the possibility that submitting your hand too quickly would be a “tell” that gives away information to your opponents.
